Pre-surgery Pictures . . .
Many of you know that Kaleb and Kadence were having some work done on their teeth. Well this morning it happened! We had to leave the house at 8:00 so that we could get there by 8:30. Everything went very smoothly. Kadence went first... and being the nervous little girl that she is, started crying as soon as the doctors came in to get her in their hats and gloves. We walked down to the operating room with her and she was crying and scared the whole way. We said goodbye to her and about an hour later she came rolling in with a smile on her face waving! Her recovery was very fast and she was dying to leave so she could get some food! Kaleb was more brave when he went to the operating room. He didnt even want us to walk him down there! He came back with big rolling tears on his cheeks because he had a really bad headache. Other than that, things went GREAT. Both kids were STARVING after and Amber let them both pick whatever they wanted to eat. Kaleb picked Arbys and Kadence picked McDonalds. Kaleb ended up eating 2 junior roast beefs . . . 2 cheesesticks...1 hamburger and 1 cheeseburger and he was still hungry! He amazed us both. Overall things went a lot better than expected and the kids are back to their normal selves :) Kaleb is a little bummed that he didnt get a "silver tooth" like Kadence!! & Kadence cant wait to show her friends at school!
